On behalf of our entire staff, thank you to all the families who joined us for Meet the Teacher night! Seeing our halls filled with so much energy and enthusiasm set a wonderful tone for the rest of the year.
Strong partnerships between home and school are at the heart of everything we do. We are deeply grateful for your support, trust, and active involvement in your child's learning journey. Together, we are looking forward to a joyful, inspiring, and successful school year!
Warm regards,
The St. Luke Nepean Staff
St. Luke Catholic School is honoured and excited to support the 2026 Terry Fox School Run! We are proud of the amazing tradition at our school. Our goal for this year’s run is to raise funds for cancer research while starting the school year with a great event that celebrates our school spirit and our students.
Please join us on Tuesday, September 29th, 2026 at 1:10pm for our school yard run!!
Our plan for the event day is to run as a whole school in the backyard from 1:10 - 2:15 pm. Families, parents, grandparents are invited and welcome to join us. Grades 1, 2, 3 will walk around the Primary grass yard and Grades 4, 5, 6 (with Kinders) will walk around the Junior soccer yard. Please wait outside the gate until 1:10pm. You do not need to go to the office to sign in.
On Thursday, September 24th, we will be having a Silly Sock Day for Terry Fox. Students are invited to wear their silliest, craziest, or most colourful socks to school. Donations for silly sock day can be made through School Cash Online. Cash or coin donations are no longer accepted. Thank you for your understanding and support.
Let’s make this year’s Marathon of Hope a special event and keep Terry’s dream alive! Please help us to reach our goal! Who will you be running for?
The Terry Fox Committee
Please remind your children that mobile device use is not permitted on school property. IF your child has one they MUST remain in their bag. We also ask that if you need to reach your child, please call the office and not your child’s cell phone. The school is not responsible for any lost/damaged devices, we recommend they remain at home.
Please label all belongings. Our LOST & FOUND piles up quickly with unlabelled items. It would be a great help to have labels so that items can be returned to their rightful owner.
We are excited to share that our official school spirit wear will once again be available for purchase online through Tuck Gear! Showing our school spirit is a wonderful way for our students to feel connected and proud of our school community.

Early Pick-Up Guidelines
If you need to pick up your child during the lunch hour, please notify the main office in advance. Finding individual students on a busy playground during recess is difficult, so we ask that you plan to meet your child in the office at one of our transition times: 11:55 AM or 12:35 PM.
Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our schedule running smoothly!
Safety is our top priority at St. Luke Nepean! Over the past two weeks, our students and staff successfully completed both a fire drill and our first lockdown practice. Everyone did a fantastic job following procedures calmly, quickly, and quietly.
To keep our school community prepared and secure, we practice these routines regularly throughout the year:
Fire Drills: 3 in the fall and 3 in the spring
Lockdown Practices: 2 throughout the school year
Thank you for your ongoing support as we keep our school a safe environment for learning!
Please take time to review important information about our lovely school.
